- Compliance with AMI Section 10
- Contact the DFSA Markets team and inform them of your intention to withdraw your license from the DFSA.
- Apply: Complete the prerequisites, as above, and submit the necessary documents as requested by the DFSA.
- Evaluate: Upon receipt of the application, the DFSA will review whether the relevant requirements are met and ask for additional information if necessary.
- Withdrawal of license: If the outcome of the assessment is satisfactory, the DFSA will withdraw the license of the AMI.
If applicable, the documents the DFSA is likely to request to be submitted with the application form include but are not limited to:
- the reasons for the request
- the date on which the AMI will cease to carry on the financial services in or from the DIFC.
- the impact of the withdrawal on stakeholders including member firms, clearing members, customers, issuers, etc.
- how the AMI will discharge all its obligations under the relevant rules and regulations
